I just wanted to share with you how much I have changed since I’ve committed to this program with you. This time last year I was in such a different place mentally. I hated pictures and was always so scared to have some photographic evidence of how unhappy I was in my skin.
I know it seems small but I asked to have pictures taken at Elena’s birthday party and yesterday at our holiday party for work I had no self doubt telling me I looked foolish in my holiday sweater even if I was the only person wearing one. People took pictures of me and I didn’t cringe looking at them. They actually made me laugh and smile.
I know these are small steps for the big picture future I’m going for. But these are also huge steps for me right now.
